Gary West organiser of Ballarat’s Got Talent was very pleased with the out come of the competition at the new venue and said that the show had a future.

ORGANISER Garry West said the opportunity to live a dream by having a go. is what Ballarat’s Got Talent is all about. The event has attracted first timers and experienced artists from around the Ballarat Region and Beyond.

The Cabaret club at the Gold Rush Mini Golf complex was full on Sunday for the grand final event. 41 contestants performed featuring singers and musicians. Heats were held throughout September with over 70 entries competing for the chance to win cash and prizes as well as recognition. The Grand final winners were

2nd Place Ballarat winner Anna Pryse Smith

The audience voted for their choice and there winner was the local band Falling Infinate featuring young musicians for various local schools A special award was also make for most outstanding new talent and the winner was 15 year old Maryborough singer Tom Christie.

Vision By Demunk awarded a $2000 video clip to local girl Corinne Janetski. Redwood Recording Studios awarded recording time to local girl Georgina Potter
