CBD laneways set to come alive as part of Ballarat Winterlude

IMMERSE yourself in the city’s laneways as part of the next exciting installment of Ballarat’s first Winterlude event.

Ballarat Laneway: Local and Live was launched last Friday and is set to enliven and enlighten Ballarat’s CBD with a three-week street party every Friday and Saturday night from 17 July to 1 August. Ballarat Laneways features: Five site-specific interactive light installations featuring local artists; Two nights of film screenings; Four, free, live music concerts over two venues; Sixteen street art performances; Backspace Gallery openings. Ballarat Laneways is delivered by the City of Ballarat as part of Ballarat’s first Ballarat Winterlude event a partnership between Ballarat Regional Tourism and the City of Ballarat.

 

BALLARAT LUMIERES

Every Friday and Saturday night

Interactive light installations by local artists Beth Lamont, Damien Orriss, Diokno Pasilan, Saeed Salimpour and SMorgan Creative and Spektraflash.

FRIDAY 31 JULY, 7 to 9pm Hop Temple Dream Tree Funky, gospel-inspired acoustic-ness Blackcat BandCovering the spectrum from the 60’s to modern classics.
