Maintaining and Building Ballarat
The City of Ballarat has been busy with works across Ballarat including:
Construction of dedicated parking bays and a concrete footpath, kerb and channel has been completed in Victoria Park adjacent to the Inclusive Play Space site.
Wendouree Parade between Pleasant Street and Ripon Street has been widened by 1.2 metres, as well as asphalted and linemarked. Works also included additional car parking and a tree protection zone.
A section of road along Steinfeld Street has been repaired.
Two major culverts in the Little Bendigo Creek at Nerrina have been refurbished.
Willow trees are being removed from the Yarrowee River in the Redan Wetlands area. Gorse and blackberries will also be removed in preparation for revegetation.

Extended outdoor pool hours
