Maintaining Ballarat

Maintenance works are underway at Her Majesty’s Ballarat. The ceilings on the balcony level are currently being repaired and plaster repair works will be carried out at the back of the auditorium. Works will be completed by the end of September and performances won’t be disrupted during the works period. The works are being delivered by the City of Ballarat.

New footpaths

A new footpath has been constructed in Cooke Street, ?Sebastopol. The footpath starts at the Redan Creek on the north side of Cooke Street and joins the existing City of Ballarat no later than 5pm on Friday 25 September.

Women’s Health

Check at Parent Place ?Ballarat Community Health will host a pop-up Women’s Health Clinic at the City of Ballarat’s Parent Place facility on the first Thursday of every month between 9am to 12noon. Services include: Pap Testing; STI risk assessment; contraception information; breast health information; ovarian cancer awareness; menopause awareness/information; and general health and wellbeing.
