WAYNE and Josh Jolly continue to be Ballarat’s BMX family having just competed and tasted success in a recent competition. The pair competed at the ACT BMX Championships at the Melba BMX track on the weekend of 30/4/16 and 1/5/16. Ten-year-old Josh (Ballarat’s Junior Sports Person of the Year) claimed both the 10 boys’ title and also the 8-10 boys’ cruiser title. Wayne claimed 2nd in 45+ cruiser and also 2nd in 45+ classes.

Josh is the current Victorian champion in 2 classes, Australian champion in 2 classes, current world 3 in 10 boys.

Both Josh and Wayne are heading to the World BMX championships later this month, which will be held at Medellin, Columbia.

Josh has been racing since the age of 2 and is looking for his first world title.

He will race both the 10 boys class and also 12 and under cruiser class.

Wayne will race 45+ cruiser class.

Father and son combinations are rare at a world championship and the pair is proud to be able to compete together.
