Pyrenees region Wine & Food Festival

Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival Showcasing the best that the Pyrenees region has to offer Following on from the success of last year’s wine event, the Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food festival will take place on Saturday 21st April 2018.

Showcasing the fabulous award—winning wines of the Pyrenees region, the Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival will be a fabulous day of local wine, food and live music suitable for couples, singles and the whole family to enjoy.

The event will be held on the banks of the Avoca River between 11am and 5pm.

The Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival will feature wines by the glass provided by well known and award winning wineries of the Pyrenees region, such as Blue Pyrenees, Taltarni, Dalwhinnie, Dog Rock and Sally’s Paddock.

Local artisan producers will be selling their wares and a wine auction will give punters a chance to take home rare release wines.

Live music performed from the festival stage will keep everyone entertained throughout the day.

And the kids haven’t been forgotten with free activities to keep them occupied while the grown ups enjoy the wines and quality local produce.

There will be an opportunity for festival goers to choose their favourite Cabernet Sauvignon of the day in the People’s Choice Award.

In addition, a number of Master classes will be on offer at $15 per adult.

Pyrenees Shire Mayor, David Clark, said: “This is a wonderful opportunity for the Pyrenees region to shine a light on the true treasures we have right here in our backyard.

The Pyrenees Unearthed Wine & Food Festival promises to be a terrific day of fun for the whole family.” Tickets are now available for $21 per adult (plus Booking fee) via Ballarat Tickets: https:// ballarattickets.com.au/ event?id=6583.
