The “Hub on Eureka” Meals Program

VCAL Students from Ballarat Christian College are proud to be in partnership with The Salvation Army Ballarat, with the launch of their new Meals Program, titled “The Hub on Eureka”. The “Hub on Eureka” aims to help people of the Ballarat community who currently have little access to, or knowledge of, healthy nutritious food. The Program is designed to assist individuals to develop skills by learning how to cook good nutritious food, and learn how this effects both themselves and other family members. The “Hub on Eureka” Meals program launch has been organised by the VCAL Students in cooperation with The Salvation Army Ballarat and will feature live music, face painting, inspiring stories and fun activities for the whole family. The launch is Thursday 5th November at 12:00pm (followed by lunch) to 2:30pm. The “Hub on Eureka” Meals Program itself will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:30 till 2:00pm They will both be held at The Salvation Army Ballarat Community Church, 102 Eureka Street, Ballarat. This will be a great community program that will bring more awareness to the importance of healthy eating to those that need it. Entries are Gold coin donation. Any referred clients free of charge.
